2019 Family and Friends Gathering

We had a great time at the gathering on the 28th.  We ended up with about 43 folks showing up for some good grub, gab, and lots of reminiscing. This little guy put the day into perspective: kick back, relax and put a smile on your face!

July 28th, 2019 Family & Friends Gathering - General Information

We are confirmed for the
Family & Friends Gathering!!!

We've once again confirmed at
Quail Community Park
for the gathering on
July 28th, 2019! 😊

We're looking forward to another great time of fun and fellowship!

The gathering will be from 1:00-5:00pm.

It will be POT LUCK like past years, so please bring your favorite covered side dish or dessert to share.  We'll make sure we have fried chicken, Kentucky Ham and refreshments on hand (Coke, Sprite, Water, Coffee).  Sorry - no beer, wine or any of the harder spirits.  Of course, chips and snacks are welcomed - especially by the kids!

Don't forget to bring your family photos, stories, and family tree information you'd like to share.

We'll enjoy air conditioning inside the gathering hall, but there's outside fun for those inclined.  The park has some room to spread out with a covered picnic area and playground.  There's even a small creek the kids enjoy!  :-)

If you're heading on I-75 South from Lexington / Richmond / Berea

• Head southeast on I-75 S toward Exit 62
• Take exit 62 for US-25 S toward KY-461/Mt Vernon/US-150
• Turn right onto Richmond St
• Continue onto KY-461 S/Cumberland Lake Pkwy
• Turn right onto US-150 W
• Turn left onto KY-70 W- Destination will be 5.1 miles on the left

If you're heading on I-75 North from London

• Head northwest on I-75 N toward Exit 59
• Take exit 59 for US-25 toward Mt Vernon/Livingston/US-150
• Turn left onto US-25/S Wilderness Rd
• Continue onto US-150 W/Crab Orchard Rd
• Continue to follow US-150 W
• Turn left onto KY-70 W - Destination will be 5.1 miles on the left
